Henrietta qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) in June 1982, and has worked within the NHS with a broad range of children in a wide variety of settings. She is currently employed by Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust where she visits children in schools and supports the staff who work with them. She also has a role as a senior therapist within the Trust offering second opinions to other SaLTs. As a Director of Elklan, Henrietta works tirelessly to support the tutors who are part of our ever expanding team. Through her energy, passion, enthusiasm and drive she has helped Elklan to become the hugely successful business that it is today. She is particularly skilled at making complex information accessible to all and helps to keep the business focused on its core aim which is to equip those supporting children with speech and language difficulties with the best possible tools to the benefit of all.
Liz and Henrietta have between them written many training packages and trained over 1,000 SaLTs and specialist teachers to use these with in excess of 20,000 teaching assistants, teachers, HVs, SaLT assistants and parents across most parts of the UK.
